Join me for an exclusive studio visit with three artists at Chisenhale Studios. Alicia Paz, born in Mexico and raised in Mexico, the US and in France, invites us into a tactile, surreal, and immersive visual language. She recently completed an artist residency at Chatsworth house, where she drew inspiration from the ornamental interiors. Her transfers of photographic and photogram images onto delicate fabrics were shown at this year’s Photo London. Amikam Toren, Israeli-born and London-based, is a conceptual artist whose practice incorporates the destruction of ready-made objects that are then resurrected in his paintings and sculptures. Alice Sarah Kate Wilson’s colourful paintings and sculptures are inspired by ancestral knowledge, the cosmos, and magical practices, and her skillful mixing of media results in iridescent compositions that mimic animals and nature.
